Accuracy matters, especially when content may influence health decisions. CleanseCode corrects material errors as quickly and transparently as practical.
What we correct
Corrections may include:
- A citation that does not support the attached claim
- An inaccurate health, safety, product, or pricing statement
- Missing context that materially changes the meaning
- An incorrect name, credential, date, dosage, unit, or link
- A conflict of interest or commercial relationship that was not disclosed
Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and broken-link repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not change the article’s meaning.
How corrections appear
Material changes receive a dated correction or update note explaining what changed. If an article is too unreliable to repair immediately, it may be temporarily unpublished or marked for review.
