Corrections Policy

Last reviewed: July 26, 2026

Accuracy matters, especially when content may influence health decisions. CleanseCode corrects material errors as quickly and transparently as practical.

What we correct

Corrections may include:

  • A citation that does not support the attached claim
  • An inaccurate health, safety, product, or pricing statement
  • Missing context that materially changes the meaning
  • An incorrect name, credential, date, dosage, unit, or link
  • A conflict of interest or commercial relationship that was not disclosed

Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and broken-link repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not change the article’s meaning.

How corrections appear

Material changes receive a dated correction or update note explaining what changed. If an article is too unreliable to repair immediately, it may be temporarily unpublished or marked for review.
